Whenever you are performing always watch out for animals and kids to steal the show. This short film features a dog actor but still manages to completely avoid that problem by casting the dog in the lead role. This dog is pretty adorable.

The camera work on this short film is very nice, as is the editing. The point of view shots from the dogs eyes look great and the continuity through the clip is also very nicely done. This is a great example of classic short film in the making. It takes a solid, but very simple and straight-forward idea and sticks with it. It supports that idea with solid film craft and camera work. Well done, Bill Kersey and Edward Kim, and most of all let's not forget Hobbes!
