This promo clip for the mountain biking DVD Earthed 4: Death or Glory shows off some of the extreme racing footage you'll find on the full length film. It also showcases the producers' apparent unfamiliarity with Roman Numerals. (Notice the 4 displayed here as IIII rather than IV.) But in a mountain bike video the footage is what counts, and this clip delivers. There are some pretty awesome spills and some real thrills.

Downhill mountain bike racing is not a sport for the weak or the weary. The trails these guys are riding are super challenging and very dangerous, even with all the protective gear and the pads wrapped around trees.
